Fans all around the globe participated in NARUTOP99, and the final results are in! View all 488 character rankings here and only here on the official site! In addition, with our exclusive data you can view the results from various angles, such as popularity by age group!
Check out the various angles from which we analyzed the votes submitted by NARUTO fans! Characters you voted for may have made the rankings in some unexpected places!
These rankings could be made thanks to the gender and age group information submitted by our participants upon voting.
An astounding percentage of the total votes were from fans in their 20s, who cast over 60%!
The overall first place winner, Minato Namikaze, was also the clear leader in this age group.
However, in the 40-49 age group, Kakashi Hatake received the highest amount of votes!
We can clearly feel the love our adult NARUTO fans have for Kakashi.
We ranked the characters whose positions improved between the Midterm Report and the end of the voting period. The character whose rank increased the most was Yamato, who jumped up a whole nine places! Gengetsu Hozuki was at 100th and rose six places, allowing him to enter the "NARUTOP99" final ranking. Other characters with limited appearances also managed to leave a strong enough impression to win a spot in the final ranking.
The voting period started on December 18th, 2022 (JST) and ended on January 31st, 2023 (JST). We created this ranking for the many users who made sure to show up and vote for the same character every day! Please note that we've limited this ranking to the characters who were unfortunately unable to break into the top 20. In first place we have Iruka Umino, who is very popular in Japan! In second place we have Tenten, followed by Orochimaru in third. To the fans who voted, thank you for your love and support. You all get perfect attendance awards.
For the REGION'S SPOTLIGHT of the final results, we've selected characters who placed in the top 99 globally, but gained a markedly greater number of votes in the specified region of the world. In Japan, the birthplace of NARUTO, Kakashi Hatake, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sasuke Uchiha made the ranking. In Oceania, Sakumo Hatake was popular, while in Europe, Shisui Uchiha got a lot of love.
